Terroir comes from the word “terre”, “land”, a French term in wine used to denote the special characteristics that the geography, geology, and climate of a certain place that along with the people create something special and unique. Priam vineyards is a completely sustainable farm and solar powered winery, producing International Award-Winning wines in a magnificent natural environment. We want to make your day magical; the ultimate one of life experiences. While our experienced wedding team will make your wedding special and memorable, the uniqueness and beauty of Priam Vineyards will make it magical.
History
The vineyard was named in honor of Gloria’s grandfather, Andrew Priam. In 1998, Gloria and her former partner started with the intent of being growers for other vineyards in CT but quickly escalated to a winery as they realized the quality of the product being produced from their land.
Wines
We create our International Award-Winning wines from hand-picked grapes that grow in our completely sustainable vineyard. The mineral rich soil and balanced acidity come through beautifully in the wines, giving them a distinct structure and flavor that Priam Vineyards is known for.
